Well, the big day has finally arrived. Today, after months of planning, prayer and heart searching, we move to Iceland. The past few weeks have felt strange, saying goodbye to family and friends is never easy. Even knowing that we will be back for a visit in May hasn’t made the transition any easier. And yet, despite this, we know that moving back to Iceland at this time, is the right thing to do. There are many challenges facing Iceland in the coming months and years, including recovering from the worst economic depression since their independence from Denmark in 1944. Our prayer and heartfelt hope, is that we can be a blessing to the country and, to the people who make Iceland what it is, forward thinking, impossibly brave and unerringly inventive. May God’s blessing follow us all in the coming months and years 🙂

Aw, this was a really good post. Finding the time and actual effort
to generate a great article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and don’t manage to get anything done.
